Like we've said before, we love to hear success stories on how customers who bought a Super Socket set from Better Tools and Fasteners found such great value in our products!  Below is a great story from Scott!

This is my personal experience with your product on 12-24-2008. 

My son has a 2000 Ford Taurus with the 3.0 DOHC engine. It was experiencing cylinder # 4 & #6 mis-fire. This was found to be caused buy the COIL-ON-PLUG boots not sealing due to age. This allowed water to enter the plug area and caused the metal plug surfaces to rust including the plugs hex head. 

Took the car to the local Ford Dealer and they were unable to remove the plugs and also broke the plug in cylinder #5. They then stated that the heads would need to be removed to get the plugs out at the tune of an estimated $2,500+ depending on unforeseen issues. 

I had my Son take the car home and wait for me to arrive. In the mean time, I purchased both the SAE and METRIC 17 piece sets from Sears for a total of $126 and took them with me on our trip to my Son’s for Christmas. The day before Christmas, I removed all 6 of the old plugs and installed 6 new plugs ($18) along with 6 new coils ($108) in about a ½ hour. 

The GRIP-TITEs proved their worth and everyone should have both sets. Another “BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT” for me. Thumbs up.
